Willow Place
New Attendee Registration Form
Willow Place is fortunate to have various large rooms where we have social distancing practices in place to keep everyone as safe as possible.
In Snohomish County many services for adults with special needs have been eliminated. These cuts often leave them feeling isolated from the community. With the absence of an active lifestyle, positivity and interaction with others, it can also bring on loneliness, depression, lack of motivation, obesity and increase the possibility of other health concerns as well. Willow Place has been designed to keep all adults active and engaged, mentally challenged, and involved. We have a qualified activity manager and helpful aides who oversee and coordinate a safe and exciting schedule.
Willow Place is intended to supplement work or training schedules for participating clients. Local school districts contract with the agency to utilize Willow Place for a specialized recreation program and introduce exiting students and their parents to available community programs. Students may also continue to attend the program during the summer and after exiting the transition programs.
The minimum age for attendees is 18 years old and all the way to seniors! Some of the activities offered are music, games, arts and crafts, plus more! Our spacious exercise room is perfect for safe distance required for aerobics, Zumba, many different sports games, and other popular physical activities. Guest volunteers often provide other special activities like yoga, drumming, etc. Our diverse programs are geared for many levels to accommodate all our participants with special needs.
We have many clients who attend more than one session a week so as not to miss out on all the fun and popular activities!
Clients must be registered prior to attendance. First visit is free. Clients are assessed
minimal user fees for Willow Place at $20.00/session and $5.00 for those clients who stay over the lunch hour from 12 noon until 1 pm. Scholarships are available for clients with a financial aid
application.
Willow Place is also a DDA Certified Respite Care Provider.
