Quilceda Community Services, established as a non-profit corporation in 1976, was formed to provide quality, individualized care for adults with developmental disabilities. The agency continues as a caregiving service provider at several locations in Marysville, WA.
Seeing an unmet community need, the agency began offering a specialized recreation program called Willow Place, in 2008, with four attendees. Now having participants from eleven Snohomish County communities, the program is offered Mondays-Fridays with ten weekly sessions, serving dozens of attendees with a holistic, wellness program of ability-appropriate activities.
